An Annotation to my Rancor...

After writing the previous piece, I started thinking: What irritates me so much about Palin? After that one question, it hit me that she tried to have books removed from the Wasilla library and have the librarian fired. This because she disagreed with some of the material in those books, and the librarian defended the right to free speech.

I think anyone who attempts to remove material protected under the Constitution of the United States, because of a personal disagreement on principles, is a little past arrogant. What is she going to do on an international level, when she chose to fight a librarian in a town of approximately 5,000? 

Most of you who read this know I'm a bibliophile; this, ultimately, is the source of my ire.
