Spending Christmas in Alaska guarantees a very white Christmas. In fact, Carrie and I trekked to the movie theater, in the midst of getting another foot of snow, to see "Marley and Me." After we were done shoveling our driveway, we were left to wonder where the next snowfall is going to be piled since our current mounds top 5 feet as they are. The weather has gotten noticeably cooler since Christmas passed. When we awoke on the 28th it was somewhere around -10 degrees.
All in all, it has been a good holiday season so far. Carrie and I were able to "see" family using video chat and exchange gifts even though we are so far away from home. We both ended up getting some new, warm clothes, and some other entertaining things, like xc skis and mojito mix. Thanks to everyone for making it an enjoyable holiday.
