I'm HQT in ASD

Yesterday, June 27th, I was officially deemed a Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) in the Anchorage School District (ASD), which is a prerequisite for contract employment. Check. I also had an interview at East Anchorage High School, with a student body of near 2100 and as diverse as schools come. Their technology is far ahead of any district in which I've worked--all wireless, and a Mac Powerbook comes with a job offer. I would be responsible for 9-11 English. The interview went well, and I'm hopeful. It would place another arrow in the quiver of my teaching experiences. 

If it was unsuccessful, I'm still in the running for Eagle River and West Anchorage HS's, when interviews become available, approximately the second week of July.
